The Station: Test Drive

Welcome to the Station's Test Drive
Here, you will have the chance to try your character's voice out before apping them into the game. Feel free to play out in whatever means you would like - through the Station's communicators which are video and voice or either one alone, through action tags or prose, or whatever else you wish.
Please note that testing a character here does not guarantee that you have a reservation on that character. You may reserve a character HERE. Also note that this may be used as one of your samples for your application, though the mods may ask for more if what is provided is not considered sufficient. Finally, any thing played out on the test drive will not be considered character canon until after your character has woken up on the Station, as each character is given a unique scenario for their character's waking upon acceptance to the game.
Re: /flips a coin, you get Jack.
Her hands go to her head and for a moment a tremor runs through her body. She shakes her head as she processes what is happening around her before her 'training' begins to flood to the surface.
When she looks at him again, eyes hateful and snarling the captain realizes he is dealing with a whole new animal. Stalking up to him, she holds fast to the similarity to Shep she saw in his eyes.
Maybe I won't kill him before I get an answer.
"Who the hell are you and why the FUCK shouldn't I torch this pisshole?!"
Re: /flips a coin, you get Jack.
"My name is Captain Jack Harkness. Ex-military rank, I'm not actually in charge here. And I'd recommend not torching the place because we are very far away from wherever you last were, and we're not sure how to get back yet."
Being open and straight-up about the situation, because even if she doesn't like his answers, she will like it less if he lies or holds anything back. He points to the Normandy without taking his eyes off her. "Did you appear on that ship?"
Re: /flips a coin, you get Jack.
Looking up, she cants her head to towards the ship in affirmation.
"Jack. One of Shepard's fuckin' strays."
Re: /flips a coin, you get Jack.
"I mean, that ship wasn't there earlier today. It just appeared, didn't fly in or dock or anything. And that's what has been happening to all of us." Nothing to hide, he is trying to look at Jack earnestly. She has to believe him, or she's going to fry him, and then, again, things get very bad. "We've just appeared on board, one by one. No way to get back home, yet. We're working on it."
Re: /flips a coin, you get Jack.
She rolls her eyes and looks back at the Normandy. The idea of the ship without it's leader makes her feel small, alone and a million other things that make her want to flay flesh from bone. Folding her arms, she cocks an eyebrow at him and struts forward. Jack realizes she's close enough to grab him and makes an effort to keep her hands off his pretty neck.
"So, what now, Cap'n? What the fuck -" she drawls, her dark eyes flicking upward from his neck to meet his gaze. "- am I supposed to do with this bullshit?"
Re: /flips a coin, you get Jack.
"The rest of us have been trying to find a way home. And working on keeping this place from falling out of the sky before we find it. Another working ship, if you'd be willing to run her, would be incredibly helpful. This area of space, it's unlike anything anyone on board has seen before. And we can only learn so much from one spot."
It's almost an offer for Jack (Oh, of all the names to accidentally double-up on). The thought of being able to do some good here has been enough to keep some of the other problematic people on board going.
