The Station: Test Drive

Welcome to the Station's Test Drive
Here, you will have the chance to try your character's voice out before apping them into the game. Feel free to play out in whatever means you would like - through the Station's communicators which are video and voice or either one alone, through action tags or prose, or whatever else you wish.
Please note that testing a character here does not guarantee that you have a reservation on that character. You may reserve a character HERE. Also note that this may be used as one of your samples for your application, though the mods may ask for more if what is provided is not considered sufficient. Finally, any thing played out on the test drive will not be considered character canon until after your character has woken up on the Station, as each character is given a unique scenario for their character's waking upon acceptance to the game.

"But that brings up a way more interesting question." Jack pauses for a second, and looks at Steve seriously. "Let me guess, you just came from the Battle of New York?" Because if the answer is no, then things get interesting.
Could this be a prose writing sample?
The kind of thing Tony might enjoy actually.
"Yes Sir," Steve replied. "Otherwise how would I have known Doctor Banner?"
I used my test drive thread as one sample, and then did a paragraph pretend post for my prose sample
We only need the Action and the prose right?
"Tony had just fallen back through the portal.... I think..... Or maybe we were eating schwarma? The details are a little fuzzzy.... is this normal?"
Yeah, that'll settle you.
"We're trying to find out patterns like that, any similarities, but I guess that's mostly Bruce's job."
Kay..... I have the personality, and the prose to do then
Steve looked around. "Well, what can I do to help?"

And then Jack gets that protective look on his face, and pitches his voice down. "Yes, the Other Guy is along for the ride, but very few people on board know he exists, even fewer have figured out that he and Bruce share headspace. And I've worked really. hard. to make sure that it stays that way. So far as most people on board know, he's just a really hard-working doctor. He deserves a chane to be treated like everybody else."

"I don't suppose you have read anything about me?" He asked, just as softly. "If you had, you should know that I have no intention of causing him problems. I get what it is like to be treated differently, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, so don't worry, my lips are sealed."

But then he shoots Cap a half-smile. "Bruce was a little dodgey about anything from back home, and Stark...well, Stark didn't like me. So I have to admit, I don't know. What bits and pieces I've heard about SHIELD, pseudo-military organization, slash super-hero group?" Jack's eyebrow raises. "I've got to hear the details."

"He never wanted to fight in the first place, and I respect that," Steve said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"So you want me to tell you about the Avengers?"
no subject
"Ye-ah, that was the other term Bruce had thrown around," Jack brightens up a little. "So, SHIELD, and the Avengers, they're different things? But you were both working to stop Loki? I did get at least that part of the story."

He adjusted his shield slightly in his hand. "Is there a reason that Bruce never explained this?"
no subject
Jack waves a hand dismissively. "Besides, he's got so many other fascinating things to talk about. Theories about this area of space, and metaphysics. I've traveled time before, and he's got me re-thinking everything I know about causality, paradoxes," Jack smirks, "even why I picked up the time travel gig in the first place."
no subject
"I am an open book, so I don't think that applies to me, but I do understand the need to keep somethings quiet," Steve stated. "I would never break Dr. Banner's confidence or trust like that. If you don't believe another thing about me, believe that," He finished earnestly, looking around.
His curiosity got the better of him, and he asked. "You time travel?"
