The Station: Test Drive

Welcome to the Station's Test Drive

Here, you will have the chance to try your character's voice out before apping them into the game. Feel free to play out in whatever means you would like - through the Station's communicators which are video and voice or either one alone, through action tags or prose, or whatever else you wish.

Please note that testing a character here does not guarantee that you have a reservation on that character. You may reserve a character HERE. Also note that this may be used as one of your samples for your application, though the mods may ask for more if what is provided is not considered sufficient. Finally, any thing played out on the test drive will not be considered character canon until after your character has woken up on the Station, as each character is given a unique scenario for their character's waking upon acceptance to the game.

"15? not sure haven't met everyone. Its kind of a big place, but you should have a comm on you somewhere that can show you a map." Yuna reached into her pocket and pulled out her comm. "Like this."

She looked at Serenity with longing. Just like The Gullwing she felt like her freedom was with these ships. They could be bound here forever. "So there is a difference between a station and a ship? No one has ever really explained that to me."

Book checks his pockets, startled. He doesn't usually carry anything on him, so he didn't realize that he had anything new, but, sure enough, there is a small communicator in his pocket. "Interesting."

"Well, the basic difference is that a ship can travel through space, it has engines, designed to go places. A space station is supposed to stay in one place, usually orbiting a planet, but it doesn't go anywhere. They're usually used as refueling stations or trading posts, in my home." Book is pressing buttons while he is explaining to Yuna. This is more advanced than anything from Book's world, but it doesn't take him too long to find the map.

He blinks a few times, and frowns. "Fifteen people, taking care of a Station this big?"

"The station kind of takes care of its self and us." Yuna pulls out her sphere grid. It was an intricately woven metal frame with glowing spheres in it.

"This is something from my world. I didn't show up with it but it showed up here. I think the station is trying to take care of us." She placed the grid back in her bag.
