The Station: Test Drive

Welcome to the Station's Test Drive
Here, you will have the chance to try your character's voice out before apping them into the game. Feel free to play out in whatever means you would like - through the Station's communicators which are video and voice or either one alone, through action tags or prose, or whatever else you wish.
Please note that testing a character here does not guarantee that you have a reservation on that character. You may reserve a character HERE. Also note that this may be used as one of your samples for your application, though the mods may ask for more if what is provided is not considered sufficient. Finally, any thing played out on the test drive will not be considered character canon until after your character has woken up on the Station, as each character is given a unique scenario for their character's waking upon acceptance to the game.
Re: Medical bay
But as he rounded the corner and saw Zhaan, he stopped. After a moment, he walked back into the medical bay, then stopped, then walked out again. Still there. His eyes went wide and he blinked a few times, shook his head, and blinked a few more times. Yep. Still there.
"Now I know this is all in my head. Took 'em long enough to start throwin' you at me. What is this? Manifestation of my own guilt? I shoot Aeryn during a game of William Tell?"
He advanced on Zhaan. "What? What...are you...doing...here?"
no subject
Sometimes it was best that way. Let him get.. whatever it was out of his system before she could decipher what exactly was going on in his head.
"William Tell? John, what are you talking about? Aeryn is fine, as are Dargo and Chiana. I've been unable to locate contact Pilot, Moia or even Talyn. John, what is this place?"
no subject
He laughs.
"But then crap like this happens. So!"
He advances closer, getting right near her, counting off items on his fingers.
"One, you died about two, maybe three cycles ago saving Aeryn. Two, D died about one or two cycles ago. Time gets kinda weird up here, it got kinda weird after you died, too. Three, whoever's running this needs to update their information, because the easiest way to tell this is fake and get me on their bad side is to wave you and D in front of me, and four, Pip ain't fine, she was on here too. Is on here. Whatever."
He stands there, breathing angrily for a few minutes, and then shakes his head. "Frel it, I'm findin' my way out." He starts to walk away.
no subject
Oh no, John. You’re not walking away from her after that.
Zhaan follows close behind until she can catch his arm and spin him around. “John! What are you talking about? Aeryn was fine a moment ago, she was on Talyn, she was finally reaching him. D’Argo isn’t dead, he was arguing with Rygel over yet another imagined slight.”
Because D'Argo can't be dead. He can't.
no subject
"Aeryn is fine. As far as I know. Buut since I'm seeing dead people and fictional characters walkin' around, the jury's pretty much out." He sighs.
"Okay, three possibilities: One, whatever the hell this station is, it's just pluckin' people out of spacetime at random for no reason. Likely, but a longshot. In which case you're not dead. Yet. Two, I'm dead or in a coma or something on Moya," he slumps against the floor, chuckling a little, "which means this is all in my head, and I'm just remembering you. Pretty likely. And the third, this is the Ancients or the Scarrans frelling with my head again. Very likely, except the Scarrans are supposed to piss off and leave me and my family alone. And the Ancients are supposedly done with me. None of these are good options right now for you, but since you might be fictional, I don't care much."
He slumps against the wall. "But when I'm from, yes, you're dead. You died saving us, if that helps. Saving me and Aeryn. I watched...I watched it happen. We couldn't do anything. You managed to hold on until we got back to Moya, and then you died. D'argo died later on. I didn't see him go, but since he was fighting half the Scarran military, I don't think his odds were too good."
He looks up, eyes wet.
"And now I'm waitin' for the scene to change and Sparky to float in wearing a gimp mask and an evening gown, because that's usually what happens when I start havin' conversations with dead friends." He chuckles.
no subject
"Then if that is how I meet my death, it will be a good one if it saves you and Aeryn." She slips an arm around him, hoping the contact will reassure and steady him. "But that hasn't come to pass yet. I'm here and I'm very glad to see you."
no subject
"Thing is...it was a good death, hell, ya brought Aeryn back from the dead, practically. But it was kind of my fault..." he looks at her. "Hey, just so I know, when are you as far as things're concerned? We have the fight about the crackers yet? Blew up that moonbase? Help me out, here. I know we can't change the future much, that's kind of a story for another time, but I figure it can't hurt to get each other caught up."
no subject
"You and D'Argo were loading up the shuttle with enough explosives to level the moonbase. Everyone was arguing. Afraid because we were splitting up." She turned hopeful eyes towards him. "But we find one another again?"
