The Station: Test Drive

Welcome to the Station's Test Drive
Here, you will have the chance to try your character's voice out before apping them into the game. Feel free to play out in whatever means you would like - through the Station's communicators which are video and voice or either one alone, through action tags or prose, or whatever else you wish.
Please note that testing a character here does not guarantee that you have a reservation on that character. You may reserve a character HERE. Also note that this may be used as one of your samples for your application, though the mods may ask for more if what is provided is not considered sufficient. Finally, any thing played out on the test drive will not be considered character canon until after your character has woken up on the Station, as each character is given a unique scenario for their character's waking upon acceptance to the game.

She followed Shion to the infirmary, then looked away from it. "My sensors are not entirely reliable; there does appear to be some level of interference. I believe there may be a small number of individuals on the station, but that is not a certainty."

She turned to face KOS-MOS again, and tapped the side of her own mouth thoughtfully. Could something be interfering with UMN access too? Was that even possible?
"I wonder what could be causing that... Well, maybe whoever else is here will have some answers. Can you tell their location?"

But there was someone to talk to, or at least some kind of life form to meet. "I believe the individual may be humanoid." Which was not always a given, after all. Someone they could ask about this place?

Even without her full functions, KOS-MOS most likely had a better idea of how to navigate to their destination, so Shion would follow her lead for now.
"I wonder though... Could there have been some residual damage from Fifth Jerusalem?" She hadn't really gotten a chance to check after the start up. "If we don't find any cause for the interference here, remind me to run some scans later, okay KOS-MOS?"

Irrational. Her programming spun off a subroutine to identify the source of that idea, unable to determine which process spawned it. Odd. Disturbing. Had she sustained damage her internal diagnostics were unable to pinpoint? "However, I believe an extra maintenance session would be advisable." If she could not locate it, surely her creator could.

"The medical bay appears to be largely unused," she said instead, selecting a different topic. There was little that could be said regarding her maintenance at this point. "We should move onward."
