Welcome to the Station's Test Drive

Here, you will have the chance to try your character's voice out before apping them into the game. Feel free to play out in whatever means you would like - through the Station's communicators which are video and voice or either one alone, through action tags or prose, or whatever else you wish.

Please note that testing a character here does not guarantee that you have a reservation on that character. You may reserve a character HERE. Also note that this may be used as one of your samples for your application, though the mods may ask for more if what is provided is not considered sufficient. Finally, any thing played out on the test drive will not be considered character canon until after your character has woken up on the Station, as each character is given a unique scenario for their character's waking upon acceptance to the game.

He blinked but figured maybe she wasn't one for tactile contact with others. Billy even took a while to adjust to such gestures, from what Trini had told him. He decided to at least give her a small bow when she gave her name. At the discussion of the morpher, he nodded. "Yeah you could say that. So you're saying I'm in the far future, and that you've never heard of a guy named Zordon?" Now he was getting abit more worried, so he decided to change gears. "What about the girl with the giant yellow lion? Seen them around?" After all, the only yellow ranger he knew was Trini, so it was a start.

"Girl?" Gryf tilted her head and looked back to the lion. "That came with a guy. Dustin something or other. Definitely a guy. He got pulled back out not long after he arrived and that big lion's been here ever since. I've been meaning to take a look into scrapping it for parts."

That surprised him. A male yellow ranger? Well, that must have been far after his time as a ranger. "Fair enough. Actually, maybe I can help with that." He knew that there was alot going on, but something told him that in this situation Zordon would understand. "You see, that robot is much like this one." And he patted the foot of the dragon mecha next to him. "Where I'm from, I'm part of an group whose purpose is to protect Earth from invading aliens. They're called the Power Rangers. That buckle you have, it's normally used in conjunction with something else to help us morph into costumes that protected us as we fought. I'm not much for the tech stuff, one of our other members was. But maybe, if I can help get the other one taken apart, some of it's parts might help get my friend here working?" It was a gamble, but one Tommy was willing to take.

Gryf held up both hands, making that little 'hold on' gesture. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow right on down. First off, there are aliens on this Station, and if you hurt one of them I'll throw you out of an airlock. Second off," she looked up at the dragon, "I might be able to help you get this guy fixed. ...Who makes a space ship into a big lizard thing? And um, no offense or anything, but you pop into costumes to protect people?"

She can't help her lips twitching. It sounds a bit ridiculous.

He held up his hands in a defensive position as well. "I've got no issue with aliens normally, these ones just like to attack my home town and try to take over the Earth. You have my word, as long as no one comes after me, I won't go after anyone."

He then rubbed the back of his ponytailed head. "He's not actually a spaceship. He's meant for land and water based combat. Alot of those bad aliens I mentioned, they liked to go super-sized to try and destroy the town. These were how we fought them."

He had to admit it did sound abit funny, but he nodded at her assessment. "Well yeah, kinda a combination of body suit and in my case additional body armor to protect from all the biog bads that wanted to attack us, and helped us hide our identities. Wasn't my idea, I promise."
