Crichton was fresh out of the medbay. It wasn't his first coma (it was, like, his fourth. He felt like he should get some kind of a discount on things), and he didn't feel like getting checked out by the same guy who put a brain leech on his neck, but it wasn't like he had much of a choice in the matter.
But as he rounded the corner and saw Zhaan, he stopped. After a moment, he walked back into the medical bay, then stopped, then walked out again. Still there. His eyes went wide and he blinked a few times, shook his head, and blinked a few more times. Yep. Still there.
"Now I know this is all in my head. Took 'em long enough to start throwin' you at me. What is this? Manifestation of my own guilt? I shoot Aeryn during a game of William Tell?"
He advanced on Zhaan. "What? What...are you...doing...here?"
