Incomiiiiing!

Hi there! I am Becca, a new player, bringing you weird-as-hell comedy hacking duo Ed and Ein from Cowboy Bebop!

For those not familiar, Ed is an almost incomprehensibly eccentric, mostly self-raised, adventurous young would-be bounty hunter who is thirteen going on twenty-five going on six. Her talents lie in salvage, hacking and inventing/building/upgrading electronics, and when she has the right equipment she has an annoying habit of taking over whole spacecraft.

Ein on the other hand is a data dog. He is a just-barely-adult Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has been altered through unknown means to give him genius-level intellect and a beyond-human ability for data retrieval, retention and cross-matching. (Technically this makes him a better hacker than Ed, though he only gets to show it once in canon). Ironically, as Ein has neither opposable thumbs nor a voice box, he has no way of communicating his intellect, unless your character speaks Dog or is good at reading animal body language. As a result of this, of all his canonmates, only Ed ever figures out that he's more than an ordinary pup.

I am reachable via PM or on Plurk at [plurk.com profile] anakimwriter.

*waves* Hi, I'm Lin, I play Alex Mercer from Prototype. He can be a jerk, depending on his mood, but I'm a sweetie, promise. Seriously, feel free to poke me. :) I remember Ed and Ein fondly (as well as the cause of many a headache).

Well, any info is probably in his journal (Spoilers abound) as well as a not-quite-essay on why I don't consider the second game canon. >.> (Which in turn, also explains why I play Alex the way I do...)

That is an interesting question too--b/c we have a werewolf on board too, with a good nose. I'd go with 'interesting', but there is a definite hint of 'danger' around him. So Ein's reaction should be 'observe, and be wary'.

Alex has no need to make enemies on The Station, and--aside from pissing some people off (where he's still lower on the count of that than Tony Stark)--he's been getting along reasonably well.

^^ Feel free to talk with me anytime for shenanigans and stuff.

Welcome aboard! Between the Doctor, Tony, Bruce, Alex, and now you, we are chock full of geniuses. We'll have to be careful not to unravel causality or something like that...

Hi, Becca and welcome to The Station!! I remember watching Cowboy Bebop and enjoying the hell out of it!!

I'm Alma and I play this here chick, Chiana, from the Farscape television series.

Looking forward to playing with you!! Feel free to ask any questions if you've got them!

Ed stowing away while Chiana goes salvaging? There are things that could only go terribly wrong... So of course I'm in! She hasn't putzed around off Station since she got here, but I could see her wanting to stretch her legs and taking a shuttle out. 8D

Chiana + young person (with dog) = What could possibly go wrong??

And even if she doesn't stow away with Chiana, Chi could always find Ed ripping some part of the Station apart?
