Ezri pulled a wry face. "Trust me, it's not. Replicators are a huge improvement. Of course, there are plenty of people nowadays who feel the same way you do about home cooking." Having experienced both, Ezri was pretty sure the cooked vs. replicated thing was all in the mind and it had a lot more to do with enjoying the activity and anticipation of cooking itself, but she knew better than to try and argue the point--Ben.
She chuckled a little awkwardly at his question, though. "I'm kind of obvious, huh? I guess the short answer is that I don't know how I got here, so I'm pretty sure I've either been taken to a different part of the galaxy or a different part of the timeline, and in either case it's going to be a real pain in the neck trying to get back, which I will probably have to violate Federation law to accomplish."
