A few questions that came to mind to start off with:

For either side of things will the communicators still at least appear to work/exist? If so, I'm assuming that they would only be able to contact those in the same 'side'?

As to outside characters, as a curiosity, will they remember the events of the 'dream' should they ever be apped proper?
